Well today is the 4th of July. Basically my favorite holiday of the year (with Thanksgiving second). I love to cookout one but more then that I love Fireworks. Don’t ask why but I look forward to Fireworks all year. As i’ve posted before this year is out first that we actually spent a decent amount of money on Fireworks. The first day we bought some we spent $114. Then we went back and spentabout $92. Then yesterday I just had to go back and get a 500Gram so we spent about 60. So, over all we spent about $266 on Fireworks. Its alot but honestly not nearly enough. So, I look forward to next year as well. Our plans are to head out to the lake to cook some hamburgers and hotdogs and wait for dark and then light our fireworks (over 250 pieces to light). We have some rain chances (like it has rained all month long) but they aren’t much so we are hoping for a good 4th of July for the weather.
We gotta get the kids up and dress and get the fireworks loaded in the van and get the ice chest packed and we are off for the day. What are your plans for this holiday? Any family cookouts? Shooting Fireworks? Or just hanging out watching 4th of July marathons on TV all day (which I’ve done before, not that bad)? Either way have a Happy and of course Sage Fourth of July.

Thanks man. We all had fun. Hot as hell outside though. We headed to the lake about 2:30 and got back home just before midnight. Took over an hour to get from the lake back to town (its about a 10mins drive) due to traffic. Overall we had fun the kids had fun. Although today I wish I had stayed in bed.
